A deep sigh of relief flew from Hafiz as he laid back down. He was extremely thankful he hadn't been dreaming, and that he had Sara were actually together.
"I was terrified for a minute there. . .I almost thought everything that had happened today was just a dream," he commented.
An idea popped in his head. "Maybe lighting a fire wouldn't be such a bad idea right now," he sort of suggested.

Sara gave a faint nod. Though she still felt a tad confused. Carefully she stood up and smiled a little " I thought it was a dream too" she said though there was uncertainty in her voice.
When he offered up the fire idea she nodded. " Yes a fire" she said then made her way to the opening of the cave. carefully she stepped out and let out a soft yawn. There wasn't much light out there. She chuckeld a little and streached then took a few steps taking the still damn branches from the tree. As she walked back in she reached up her shirt to pull a ribbon from her shirt. Carefully she laced it along the wood then sat it down. "Can you go gather up so more wood while I get this started up?" she asked and giggled. Slowly she pulled two lighters out she took the first one and smashed it against the ground then set the wood atop of it. With a spark from the second the ribbon started on the fire then watched as it tried to dry the wood. She smiled a little at the dim light that now danced alogn the walls " It won't last long without more wood."

The moment the flames dimly lit up the cave, a sigh of relief came from Hafiz. Seeing Sara's face helped reassure him that this couldn't be a dream.
She mentioned they would need more wood. "I'll be back in a flash, sweetheart," he grinned as he dashed out of the cave.
He hurried about, looking for dry branches on the ground. At best, all the branches he could find were still slightly wet. Carrying a large armful, he hurried back to the cave.
"Will this be enough?" he asked as he set the wood a safe distance from the flames.

Sara nodded and smiled a little then let out a soft yawn " I'm sorry I woke you" she said softly studying him for a moment before she found herself standing and walking over to embrace him her head resting back on his chest. Another small yawn passed her lips and she nuzzled ever so faintly against his chest. She still felt so tired, and despite the foggy feeling in her head she was pretty sure this wasn't a dream.
Slowly she lifted her head again to look up at him " lets go lay back down?" she offered softly a faint smile on her lips.

Hafiz turned to reply to her apology, but was stopped by her quickly embracing him. His heartbeat raced a little, which he was sure she could hear.
"It's okay," he finally managed to say.
She suggested they lay back down, which brought a soft smile to his face. "That sounds like a wonderful idea," he spoke softly as he slowly moved his way down to the floor, holding onto her as he did so.
He gently moved her arms so that he didn't lay his back on her hands before he was completely on the floor. He loved this feeling of having her laying on him. It helped reassure him that this wasn't a dream.

Sara was blushing faintly by the time they were on the floor, his body was a lot more warm then the floor. This was much more comfortable a soft laugh passed her lips. "I still feel like this is all just a dream" she whispered softly her left hand lightly drawing on his chest again as she listened to his heart beat. " It wouldn't be the first time I've dreamed of something this elaborate." Her voice held a hint of sadness. She'd hate it so much if she awoke to find this all only a dream .
Another yawn passed her lips and her eyes slowly closed with a soft sigh. " I really do hope your not a dream" she added softly slowly drifting back into sleep

Hafiz listened intently as Sara spoke of how she hoped this wasn't a dream, and how she'd had elaborate dreams before. She even mentioned that she hoped he wasn't a dream.
He wanted tp prove to her this was no dream, that they were in reality, together. An idea jumped in his head that maybe kissing her would be real enough, but he quickly erased that thought from his mind. He knew all too well how devastating the consequences would be if he did that. It would make her feel like she went from a dream straight into a nightmare.
All he could do was touch her softly, hold her gently.
"Trust me, sweetheart, this is no dream. This is real. I'm real," he spoke in a soothing tone before he started humming.

Sara clutched to the words he spoke as her mind shifted into a dreamless realm of sleep. His soft hum lulled her to sleep in no time leaving her breathing softly and near motionless atop of him.
When the morning sun crept into the cave Sara let out a soft yawn unwilling to really awake yet. lightly her head nuzzled against his chest trying to keep the sun from her eyes. A soft groan passed her lips and she slowly sat up, straddling him as she did. Carefully she rubbed her eyes a moment then slowly looked down at the boy studying him silently trying to see if he had awoken yet or if he was still asleep

Hafiz could feel the warmth of the sun's rays on him, which gently woke him up. He didn't open his eyes quite yet, until he felt Sara moving.
His eyes opened slowly and groggily, and looked up at Sara.
"Good morning, sweetheart," he spoke softly. "Did you sleep okay?"

Sara blushed when he opened his eyes. " Well... yeah okay" she said with a soft nod " how about you?" she asked her hands slowly resting on his chest as she leaned forward slightly. " Did you sleep well?" she tilted her head to the side faintly. With a soft giggle she smiled.
After his answer she spoke again. " I'm hungry, we should find something to eat!" she let out another soft giggle before leaning forward a bit more to slightly nuzzle her cheek against his. After she finished she stood and stepped away from him giving him room to actually stand up.

Sara replied, saying she slepy okay, and asked Hafiz how he slept. "I slept just fine," he grinned.
She said she was hungry, and suggested they find something to eat as she got on her feet.
"Yeah, I'm kinda hungry myself," he commented. "If we could get back to my apartment, I could make breakfast for us."
He got on his feet, and swiftly embraced her. He even summoned his wings to wrap around her while they hugged.
"The best part about sleeping, is waking up to see you," he whispered in her ear.

Sara nodded and smiled "breakfast sounds wonderful" she said then let out a faint gasp when he suddenly embraced her though she quickly leaned into him her arms wrapping around him. When his wings came out she felt her breath being swept away as well, it was such an amazing sight, slowly her fingers ran along and through his wings a soft content sigh passing her lips.
"I agree" she whispered back softly. Carefully her hands traced along the feathers of his wings carefully following it's pattern. "Can you feel them?" she asked curiously her head still resting against his chest her eyes closed now.

As he held her close to him, Hafiz could feel her gently touching his wings. Despite how soft her touch was, it still hurt ever so slightly.
"I can feel you touching my wings," he whispered, hiding how much it hurt. He released her from the embrace, and swiftly pulled a feather from his left wing, grunting as he did so.
"You can have one, if you'd like," he said, holding the feather out to her. Whether or not she decided to keep it didn't bother him. He would've lost that feather sooner or later, anyway.

Sara nodded a little, unable to understand that it hurt. Wen he pulled away and plucked a feather a gasp passed her lips too. " Didn't it hurt?" she asked as she slowly took the feather into her hands carefully holding it like it was a frail insect. She smiled a little her thumbs lightly brushing it " It's so soft" she whispered more to herself then anything else. After a moment she threw her arms around him in another tight embrace " Thank you" she whispered hugging him tightly as she did.
She'd near forgotten about the hunger she was feeling as tears filled her eyes again. Slowly she buried her face into his shoulder and let out a soft sob.

She asked if it had hurt when he pulled out the feather. "Only a little bit," he replied. In truth, it had only hurt for about half a second.
She suddenly hugged him, and thanked him. "You're welcome," he replied, a soft smile on his face.
That smile was soon replaced with an expression of shock when he realized she was crying again.
"I'm sorry!" he said quickly, his tone soaked with worry. He was afraid he had done something wrong again. That's when he remembered they were supposed to be heading to his apartment to have breakfast.
"I'll bet you're pretty hungry, aren't you? I'll get us back to my place as fast as I can," he spoke softly. He held her close to him, lifting her off the ground as he dashed for the cave's entrance.
He ran as fast as his legs could carry him and Sara. Once he reached a clearing, he leapt into the air, and began flying across the treetops.
In about a minute or so, the scenery below them changed from forest to city. It was still pretty early in the morning, so there weren't many people out.
He landed swiftly and silently in front of his apartment building, and gently set Sara on her feet.
"Well, here we are. I hope I didn't scare you by doing that," he whispered. He quickly made his wings vanish, wanting to make sure no one saw them.
