Full Name: Owl
Age: Stopped counting. Looks to be approximately twenty-three
Race: Fallen Angel
Powers:
Hydrokenisis
Cryokenisis
Appearance:
The tall 'young' man's light red hair falls straight down, framing his face in thin strands. Locks on the sides come down to just below his chin, while his bangs fall down just above gleaming blue eyes. These bright eyes shine through the few bits of hair that make it down to their level. The slightly rugged shape of his face is defied by its smooth creamy skin. While it isn't exactly tanned, it is clear that he spends a decent amount of his time in the sun. Slim, yet slightly toned body is covered by a black button up shirt, usually with the collar popped up and the few top buttons undone. Pants are just as simple. Black slacks lead down to a pair of surprisingly clean white sneakers. There was one thing that made him stick out from other angels though. Even if one who can see wings were to closely examine him, they would find that he has none.
Personality:
Owl does his best to be a friendly person, but clearly carries a heavy burden with him. His face is usually blank when he is simply walking about, features giving little hint to what exactly is going through his head. While he appears to be perfectly calm, one look into his eyes tells you that there is a war going on within his mind. About what, one can't be sure. But no matter how hard he may try to hide it, it's always there.
It's a rare thing for Owl to actually walk up to someone and start up a conversation. But if someone was to come over to him and start talking, he is more than happy to have the company. He can hold his own in a casual one on one conversation, but tends to get a bit uncomfortable when in a large group. It's a challenge to actually get him riled up with only words. And even if you do, he manages to keep himself contained fairly well. But if one pushes the subject much further he's likely to get angry. Fortunately, he's quick to calm himself down and forgive, providing they are willing to drop the subject and apologize.
While he's an easy person to talk to, that doesn't mean he is a easy person to befriend. Especially for humans. While some angels choose to spend their time around them, Owl would much rather spend his time around his fellow fallen angels. But since there aren't too many on earth, he ends up spending most of his time around the humans. It's not exactly impossible for a human to befriend him, but it's much harder than it would be for another fallen. For some reason, he always ends up pushing them away without even giving much of a reason why.
If one manages to make it past being his acquaintance, human or not, they are under his protection. He is very protective over those that he trusts. Almost to a fault. If it would help to save someone he cares for, he would put his life on the line in a heartbeat. Even though he tends to be a pacifist, he rarely holds back when protecting others. If one were to come after anyone within his circle of trust, he quickly goes from merciful to merciless. On the other hand, he is defending himself and no one else is in any danger he is careful not to damage them too badly. He rarely even draws his weapon unless he deems it necessary.
Job: Protector of his butterfly
RP Sample:
Owl grumbled to himself for a moment as he walked the streets, troubled blue eyes darting from person to person. He carefully examined each of the people walking the streets in desperate search of his Butterfly. Hadn't he gone through enough? The responsibility of having to protect another person... He wasn't sure he could take it again. Eyes shut tightly as he shook his head, forcing the thought out of his mind. He couldn't think such things. After all, it was his duty to protect the humans. What happened before didn't matter anymore. What mattered was he had a job to do now. Running a hand through his hair he took in a deep breath, eyelids coming down over his eyes once more to allow his eyes a moment or rest. "I could really use a cigarette..."
Owl continued to walk along with the crowd, unsure of where exactly he was going. While he wanted to get his cigarettes out, he didn't want to expose those around him to the lung damaging smoke. Well, their lungs. He had to admit, sometimes it seemed like the humans were just a bit... too weak. Thoughts halted for a moment as he mentally slapped himself again. He couldn't be too harsh on them. It wasn't like they chose to be human. Maybe he was just too tense. He knew just how to fix that. Slipping out of the crowd, he entered an empty alleyway. Finally out of the crowd. Reaching into his shirt pocket, he pulled out a carton of cigarettes and pulled one out. After putting the carton back into his pocket, he reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a lighter. Gently holding the stick in place with his teeth, a hand lifted up to protect the small flame from the slight breeze as it flicked on and ignited the tip. A long drag was taken, exhaling the smoke from his nose. A smile spread across his face as he tilted his head towards the sky. "Much better."
